Setting up the chart for trading
Proper chart setup is the foundation of comfortable trading: 1. Chart type → Japanese candlesticks (essential) 2. Timeframe → M5 to start (5 minutes) 3. Indicators → Add EMA 17 and EMA 50 (we will configure them later) 4. Color theme → Dark (less eye strain) 5. Scale → So that ~50-100 of the latest candles are visible DO NOT use line charts. It hides 75% of information (candle shadows).
